In May 2009, Carolyn Gist earned a BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Baylor University. She has worked with all the different facets of graphic design—identity, print, package, web, etc.—and currently works as a Graphic Design Specialist in Houston, Texas.


As a student, she recieved a Silver ADDY at the Regional level, and four others at the local level—including Best of Show. At her current job, her work was chosen out of a team of experienced designers to be placed as the back-cover ad in a prominent industry magazine which runs for the entire year. Most recently, she conceptualized and created a new advertising campaign for the company—something that has not been achieved since 2008.
